TANITA ViScan determines the Visceral fat of the body. Therefor the Health risk presented by android fat distribution can be described. By combining the TANITA trunk fat device ViScan with the GMON you can transfer all data of a measurement into the GMON database and use them for long term evalutation and monitoring.
You can enter the measured values into the input field. Or, by clicking Taking a new reading (Device input) you will activate the connection to the measurement device and after a succesful measurement the data will be adopted.
Afterwards the measured values will be displayed in the rating colour bars. The upper bar shows the trunk fat analysis. In the lower bar you can switch from visceral fat level to hip circumference analysis and back. The hip circumference (over the navel) should not exeed 80cm for women and 94cm for men. The sex-specific differences are considered in the Overview of the ranges used in the GMON.
